Steve Silver has more than 30 years of experience focusing on financial modeling and business development strategies for real estate, asset management, and affordable mortgage lending products. Since joining Lantian in 2015, Steve provides asset and property management oversight to Lantian’s existing investments and has supported the development and ongoing revenue generation for Lantian’s existing properties and new acquisitions.

Previously, Steve was the Chief Financial Officer for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. In this capacity, his responsibilities included the overall financial management and strategic planning for a diverse state housing finance agency that raised more than $1 billion in capital annually. Steve’s career has included a broad array of financial and accounting work with both private and public entities. He is a CPA with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore.
